        Music, although usually unnoticed during a film or television show, is the very heart of the moving picture. As a composer one is given an incredible amount of responsibility in not only meeting deadlines and being genuinely creative musically. But also conveying the right emotion to the people who will end up spending a portion of their lifespan experiencing the movie, both visually and audibly. When it comes down to it, the music behind the movie can make a either a good film incredible, or in retrospective, a bad film atrocious.

My name is Jesse White, I'm a composer/audio engineer from North Hollywood in Los Angeles, California. I am available for any kind of scoring or post-mixing needed. My genres are everything, from a solo classical piano to industrial drum and bass (like the movie "pi" - clint mansell). A lot of the work I have done is available here on this site, I also have a promotional DVD available if you need better quality.

Everything musically avaiable on this site is an example of my work, even the background music for this page that should be playing right now. I am very serious about what I do, If a director wants a film to be successful, you have to have a composer who is good, fast enough to meet deadlines, and most importantly - dedicated to their work. I am one of those composers, once hired for a project I wont stop working until its done and everyone, including myself, is happy with it. I do sleep on occassion, but I work right out of my apartment here in North Hollywood.

As far as engineering in post, I am a certified pro-tools operator. Im interested in all of it really, but my greatest interest is in re-recording and dubs. I had the oppurtunity to do this while in college and was absolutely fascinated by how important and detailed it was. This has become another one of my goals to one day achieve, I am hoping to one day make re-recording a career as well as composition.
